christina rendon live in concord this morning with some of the problems that caused for thousands of bart commuters. >> good morning to you. it was just a mess of an evening commute. we can tell you after this nine hour standoff, the person was safely removed from the track right here. we understand it was around 2:30 this morning when that person was finally removed. we understand they were taken to the county hospital for a mental health e valuation. evaluation. but all of this started in the heart of the xhult yesterday morning. that's when the person was first located on the tracks. it was around 6:30 in the evening and so when that person was first located they realized they couldn't run service between pleasant hill and concord stations. they also had to shut down power between the two stations so that police officers and first responders could go on the track safely and try to negotiate with this person. that meant so many people were left trying to figure out how to get to their destination. there was a bridge that was set up between pleasant hill and concord but with thousan
