. >>> happening today, san francisco international airport begins to screen passengers coming from china for a new and deadly virus. sfo is one of three airports during health checks. elissa harrington his life for us at the international terminal at sfo this morning. >> the reason they are doing health checks is because it is one of the airports here in the u.s. with direct flights from china which is where this outbreak started. this coronavirus is a respiratory virus that has already killed two people and sickened dozens of others. sfo, lax and jfk are the three airports that will screen passengers. jfk and sfo the only u.s. airport with direct flights from china. those being screened at lax or from connecting flights and the centers for disease control will begin health exams today so passengers arriving will get there temperature taken, health screening before allowed to pass through customs and they will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire asking if they have experienced any symptoms. the symptoms are similar to the flu, fever, runny nose and sore throat. a spokesperson said
