. >> joining our panel is former republican congressman carlos c carvallo of florida. come on, man.d social media. donald trump is literally in court trying to take away obamacare, medicaid. it takes a lot of i don't know what to turn around and say you're protecting it. your thoughts? >> yeah, joy, the republicans and the president know that health care was a major reason why republicans lost in suburban america in 2018, lost their house majority and why some of these same swing state republican senators will be exposed so that's why the president is raising it in a way that is inconsistent with what some of his allies in the house actually demanded in the last congress which was to alter the replacement bill that it did raise questions as to whether or not it would continue covering people with pre-existing conditions so i think this is a rye jackson to 2018. maybe trying to get ahead or confused voters in some way of what the administration's efforts might be with regards to health care but certainly my recommendation to republicans would be don't talk health care. it's a loser f
