and how cgi came into effect, making the actors look younger than they were? we shot that in 108 days which is an ungodly amount of time. not only was this cgi there but body mechanics being involved, posture and movement and everything else dealing with the actors so that way it was not only the cgi manipulating the face but also had you could stand taller or put a spring and your staff and stuff like that. on that film i was robert de niro's tech adviser so i got to work with and very intimately. what was he like? the hardest part for me was planning to call him bob because he is like you are here every day working with me and you are this close, it is bob. but it was, working with him, he wanted to know everything. he wanted to know otherwise behind why his character was doing something. so that helped a lot because we shoot out of order on a film so one day he may have been in his 60s and another day he might‘ve been something else. but we shot the film very much at the end of productions i had to work with them on letting him know what his character would
