been following it all weekend after days of speculation of the health of the north korean's leader kim jong-un, he's down playing rumor that he's seriously ill. kim is alive and well. cnn's bill ripley is joining us from tokyo. there has been a lot of concerns about kim jong-un's health ever since he missed the celebration of his grandfather back on april 4 15th. what more do we know right now? you have been to north korea 20 times over the past few years. wa what do we know? >> reporter: it is a very definitive statement, wolf, that they say they are basing on the fact on any unusual movement where kim jong-un is believed to be right now. his train is at the spot of the supreme court leadership next to his luxurious beach front compound where a place he spent many summer as a child and he goes there quite often. he flies there and we don't know if he flew in. the train is there for different reasons. south korea has an optimistic spin on a lot of things. that i were optimistic throughout the entire falling apartment of the diplomatic process with the u.s. saying there was hope that -- kim jon
