as a fire fighter, i want to say these front line food workers are putting health ablives on the line to a far greater extent than i am. i would like to explain what i mean by that. when we go out to respond to toa covid-19 call we are given full personal protective equipment and training on how to safely interact with an infected patient. if anything goes wrong and there is a suspected exposure we are given administrative leave to quarantine. if we develop symptoms we are moved to the front of line for testing. that is firefighters. front line food workers have a far greater number of person to person interactions than we are. they have no idea about the health status of the customers. they don't have the same level of personal protective equipment that we do, and if they do become infected, many of them are basically left on their own to deal with the consequences. especially those workers working directly for the on demand delivery app companies whose owner ignore california law andyny protections they deserve as employees. speaking as a fire fighter, these workers are feeding us,
