holtz-eakin? dr. holtz-eakin: i think that's right. mr.e: i have got three counties, you heard me speak about some of the ones in south carolina that are majority african-american. they haven't really seen a higher level of covid than the national average or the average of the state. i haven't seen a demographic for those three counties specifically, but what they have had is lack of opportunity for a long time. the thing that crushes me about all this is that we had made so much progress. along that line in terms of creating opportunity. when i came into office in 2012, the unemployment rate in marion county, south carolina was almost 20%. three months ago, it was under 4%. which is an amazing and fascinating thing. we had made so much progress in providing opportunity that would eventually lift these disparities in health care and education and other things. i just can't wait -- we are on the downside. if you look at the slopes, the numbers are getting better every day nationally. we have absolutely bent the curve. i can't wait until we
