that is actually a wallpaper swag that is an absolute period document that we found at the cooper hewittollection in new york of the smithsonian design museum. it was installed in 19 95 when the room was done again. what you see in the room is different wallpaper, different up hole industry, the feeling of the room that mrs. kept created. she would be thrilled to know that more historical research was going into how to keep the room looking historic. she acquired one arm chire and two side chairs for this blue room furniture. you see one of the side chairs in its current fabric. this is fabric that mrs. kennedy chose choge this eagle on it. it has gone through three clear combinations. what is interesting is it is one of two she acquired. it is difficult to see but the bottom inscription is the french cabinet maker. it exists. you see what happens when people keep attacking uphole industry fabrics to a frame that bears the maker's name. we do minimally inevasive uphole industry where you build a structure inside the chair and attach the fabrics to the new materials. the chair is now move
