we will miss you, harry britt. awe thank you. supervisor preston. >> thank you, president yee and i would like to join the remarks and thank you to supervisor mandelman and other colleagues of harry's memory. and britt was a longtime resident of the hate and former constituent and a democratic socialist and ahead of his time. it's been one of my pleasures being in office when i tell folks i am the first democratic socialist elected in 40 years and always wonderful with that area. and to talk about the amazing impact that he had on the city and how he was unapologetically a socialist at a time that was going against the conventional wisdom. harry is and will always be an inspiration to me. i have similar stories to some that my colleagues have shared. and he was such a pioneer for unheard voices for the lgbtq community and communities of color and really for the working class of san francisco. and over the course of the last number of days, almost weeks now since learning of his passing, really talked with a lot of fellow d.s.a. me
