sitting on the other side of the hole that you see in the door was melvin evans.is lawyer for an exclusive interview. thank you for taking the opportunity. thank god you are okay. how are you doing, melvin, with all this? >> i'm doing fine. >> good. good to hear. so just tell the audience, what did you see that night? >> we pulled up into wendy's. we just literally got to -- we were just looking for something to eat. pulled up into wendy's. we heard arguing. an altercation. about a couple of seconds later, we see the victim running toward us and the officer was chasing him. he had a taser in his right hand. the victim had a taser in his hand. the officer shot three times and dropped and we was ducking because we didn't want to get hit. >> did you see rayshard brooks try to fire the taser at the officer who was chasing him? >> he pointed the taser in the air and i don't think he shot it -- i think he was doing -- he shot it to get the officer off of him. he didn't point it toward him, though. he just was running away from the officer. >> he never stopped and turned

account is for the shooting towards her in the direction of melvin eva ns. her in the direction of melvin evans the person who was seated in the car, do we have the picture? and if you would point out this automobile is the place that mr evans and his two companions were driving, and a shot was fired and i believe we also got a photo of a shot who ended up in the vehicle. so with count for against officer rolfe, it charges them with aggravated assault for firing the weapon in the direction of danielle killian's was in the passenger side in the front seat of the car. next slide. count five and aggravated assault charge, and this was a charge for shooting towards or in the direction of michael perkins, mr perkins was seated in the rear of this same vehicle at that time. there is a charge for criminal damage for shooting into that vehicle. also officer rolfe is charged with seven violations of office, each one of those carries a one to five sentence. these are violations of his oath of office for the city of atlanta. arresting mr brooks for the dui without immediately informing him of the arrest,
