we are seeing them getting turned away by a chp officer that is stationed at the stage canyon road andsilverado trail intersection. this is as far as the public can go. it has cooled off overnight. winds are calm and gives firefighters a chance to gain some ground. they will need all the help they can get. the hennessey fire had grown to 2400 acres and containment is at 0%. 205 structures are threatened and mandatory evacuations are in place. the flames were still very active with intense burning late into the night. this was the scene along lower chilly's italian road and stage canyon road. by sunday, it exploded to well over 2000 acres and by nightfall, crews were still battling the flames as it came down and close on the historic winery here. some employees and stayed behind to help the firefighters. >> we are working in close conjunction with them. we have our property here, so we have to prepare it so it can come in and out. right now you can see we are putting up the gate, so that they have access through the property to get to the water system. when he gets to a certain stage, b

so the chp has issued a sig alert.era so you can see the car fire there right now. looks like the flames are out. i've been watching it for the past ten minutes or so. the vehicle was fully engulfed. you can see there are two lanes shut down right now. it's going to be a really sluggish ride into san francisco as you make your way from the east bay this morning. this is right on westbound 80 in between fifth and fremont street. so, just a heads up to everyone making their way there. move over to the south beach camera so you can now see the scene and you'll see the back up that you're facing and it is very slow. look at that. you can see another police officer making their way down the bridge right now. the metering lights at the toll plaza came on at 5:49. we have noteen given an eta to when everything will be cleared up but i can tell you they put out the flames in maybe the last minute or so. it will be a little bit until they can get this cleared up. i'll continue to watch it for you. we'll be right back after the

according to the chp, there was a car that went across all of the lanes. crashed into the center divider and turned on its side on westbound 580 before the 35th avenue on ramp. one lane is blocked right now and injuries have been reported and an ambulance has been called, as well as the fire department. you can see that slow down that is beginning to build there. the sig alert that i was following earlier on westbound 24 before college avenue has cleared but you can still see that there is going to be a slow patch as you move further west on 24. giving you a thumbs up as far as the clearing. just want to let you know about that. b.a.r.t. having issues in the east bay this morning. a major delay on the richmond line due to an equipment issue. and this is in the berryessa direction. heads up to everyone there. while i'm talking about mass transit, i want to let you know about some other changes happening this month. starting with vta increasing bus frequency on the number of lines starting this monday. there are now partitions around bus and train operators.
