and these red areas that are on the map, those are all the pfeiffer perimetfire perimeters burning in california. you can see previous fires we've had in nevada, utah, and arizona over the past couple of months. plenty of wildfire activity lately. the problem on why we can't get this to clear out, it's all about the way the wind's moving, not only at the surface but also up at 20,000 and 30,000 feet in the jet stream. they've been kind of acting in a parallel, uniform fashion here, and it's basically acted like a conveyor belt to bring the smoke down from these two fires that exploded in size this week. and it's been pushing that smoke from the north off towards the south. we're seeing the winds pick up a little bit in san francisco, but still not good enough yet to circulate that air. and that's why you'll see in this air quality forecast, which is really minute by minute, hour by hour, i'm forecasting we'll start off the day tomorrow in that unhealthy to very unhealthy range. so, again, limiting your outdoor exposure is going to be the best way to deal with everything. tomorrow morn
