plaza behind me here in walnut creek inside the courtyard area. two men were several stories up washing these windows which one side of their scaffolding broke free. you can see in this witness cell phone video it shows the fire department arriving on the scone as the video tilts up and dodge men are dangling from their safety harnesses between the fourth and fifth along' the gangway they had been standing on is dangling by one of its steel cables. that supported the men as they were washing the windows when it failed around 6:45 this morning. someone inside the building called 911. a rescue team set up a rope system on the roof several stories where the men were at and dropped down to the men and secured the men and lowered them safely back to the ground at around 8:00 so the men were probably hanging there a good hour and 15 minutes. both men were talking and breathing and taken to the hospital and the chief fire official said they app to be okay. no clear what caused the scaffolding to fail and again, why they wear safety harnesses. >> bob, tha
