good morning to you, cory. what's the situation you're seeing on the ground? >> reporter: hey, guys, good morning. the situation is dire, as the governor describes it. wisconsin here, in this -- we're talking the entire state, which we'll get into -- but they are hitting records in hospitalizations, in cases, and in deaths, all at once. you hear about some states that are increasing cases but not necessarily deaths. that is not the case here in wisconsin. deaths are rising at a rapid rate. and that 37 percentage rate that you were talking about, positivity rate from tests, that is also particularly alarming when you think about new york, which had a 20% to 25% positivity rate at its peak, almost double that 20% currently right now in the state of wisconsin. more than 300,000 cases now here and more than 2,000 deaths as that continues to rise. and you can see the peak. i'll show you the graph where you can see just how vertical that spike is starting to get in this state. the governor expressing extreme concern over this and some worry that some of his mandates
