we have bob cusack here, myself. got to tell the audience, we may have a picture that we hang out once a year, we hang out a lot socially, but will on the hill. there it is. there's my picture. i didn't get bob in it. i wanted to say we have been calling you the once and future congressman. let me just start out and ask you. what are you going to accomplish now that you didn't accomplish before? >> to a great extent i'm returning, i think, to provide that perspective that you have when you have served for a long time in congress. some of it could be mentoring younger members. some of it could be explaining to people that we have been in the minority with a democratic president before. we worked our way through it. we have always been in the majority and worked with the democratic president before to accomplish legislation. as a matter of fact, the data act was passed with republican majority in the house, democratic majority in the senate, and president obama. one of the big cheerleaders for that act was vice preside

meantime, we have franchesca chambers here and bob cusack from the hill. franchesca, the administration plans to have a busy start including doing everything that they said that they wanted to do, which by the way includes the big tax hikes. they're not going to be put off. indications are that they might have a bumpy reception in congress and a 50/50 senate. but no sign yet that the tax hikes are put off. what do you think? >> what we have heard from the incoming white house chief of staff is that joe biden will use at least a dozen executive orders on his first day in office, neil and over the next ten days, he will be doing a lot more of those executive actions. the people he is close to like james clyburn, encouraged him to use as much executive authority as he can. he said he encouraged barack obama to do the same thing but he didn't use as much executive action as clyburn would have liked. that's his advice to get things done when he faces gridlock in congress. >> neil: you know, in talking to clyburn not long ago, the one thing that he left with me
