used teargas — and there were rallies in towns and cities across the country. 0ur correspondent nyein chan ayeo see how the demonstrators were preparing to continue their protest. this is becoming a too typical scene in the streets of yangon. this kind of roadblock can be seen almost everywhere across the city, like little fortresses, made out of sandbags, trash bins filled with water or sand. over a month already into this crisis here in myanmar and protesters have come prepared. people use whatever they can to protect themselves against the security forces. across the city, protests continue, despite the bloodiest clashes in previous days. people here saw the two most deadliest days just within a week, which resulted in several persons killed across the country. as the demonstrations in the main roads are easily crushed down by the security forces, the protesters change their tactics. instead of marching down to greater gathering points, they create their own space in their own neighbourhoods, like here. they feel much safer, but the situation can be changed suddenly. the riot police chase t

nyein chan aye from bbc burmese is there.. so footage, even though their military counsel is denying police forces are not allowed to shoot the lower part of the body. anyway, the footage and images show that even the rescue ambulances who are carrying the injured people from the scenes were also hit by the bullets. the violence and level of force from the military has attracted global attention. and amnesty international has released a report today. its experts have analysed more than 50 videos from myanmar that they claim show — the military engaging in "systematic and premeditated killings" and that the military is using weaponry normally reserved for the battlefield including light machine guns, sniper rifles and submachine guns amnesty also claim that among the military officers in the cities are "soldiers who were implicated in past atrocity crimes against ethnic minorities" like the rohingya muslims. here's kayleigh long — the researcher behind the report. it's a horrific situation and the footage that's emerging from

our correspondent nyein chan aye has more on this from yangon. front, they call themselves front line defence, are wearing fully protective gear, like concussion helmets and using shields. they are also making makeshift barricades in the neighbourhood. to stop or slow the movement of the military or police vehicles. just an hour ago, the police used stun guns and tear gas in the main road just over there, about 500 yards away. i spoke to two people who were in the same area who told me they had been attacked. the police also fired rubber bullets on protesters without any warning. german media are reporting that the main opposition party, alternative for deutschland, has been designated as a suspected right wing extremist organisation. it would mean members could be spied on by the intelligence services. the party is anti—islam, anti—immigration and anti—establishment. its popularity surged in 2015 after over a million migrants entered germany, and in 2017, it became the first far—right party to win seats in parliament since the second world war.
