sunday afternoon, very dry outlook with temperatures at south lake tahoe 50 degrees to your north in truckee though cooling down to 35 degrees but lake tahoe you're going to be in the mid 30's by monday into tuesday with those snow showers arriving for you monday night all the way through tuesday. so that's when it's really expected to peak in temperatures about 10 to 15 degrees below average remember you should be averaging about the mid 40's for this time of year so with this approaching storm set to arrive monday night even through wednesday we're tracking upwards of a foot of snow for the high sierra lower valleys anywhere from one to 3 inches. so we will take any flurry we can get at last check the sierra snowpack just about 60% of average so really needs a lot of snow right now to make up for that deficit taking a look ahead the water bay area forecast. we're tracking warmer and drier weather by your sunday afternoon and then by monday that's going to be transitional day for those of you in the north bay you could start to see some widespread light showers monday afternoon for the rest
