trimble does and mix of boeing, lockheed, others, shows beneficiaries from space exploration but is thaticiaries in our eye, like those that pursue mars, those that might go as part of a moon project? >> we're investing anything above-ground. this also includes drones. a lot of the names you see in the portfolio are a little more related to the drone space. we think this is going, this could be a, we think a 275 billion-dollar industry in terms of annual revenues in about five years from now. so this is a massive opportunity and it also includes some of the aerospace beneficiaries you mentioned, enabling technologies. so we've seen advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, 3d printing, all these technologies are really benefiting, and enabling the kind of the aerospace industry this is everything above-ground and certainly in space as well as we start to think about reusable rockets and then, even the cost decline associated with the satellites that we're launching into space. they're getting smaller, more cost efficient. we can launch more of these. this really fits into the th

administration >> if you look at how the market has been trading, these have been underperformers you look at lockheeds cheap relative to the market as 2009 everyone loves every industrial because there's massive leverage to the economy as opposed to government defense spending. so i think the market has discounted a relatively poor outcome for these companies and maybe this is a slight relief relative to what people could have expected. it's interesting how they're very much core value names there was a lot of time during the trump administration when they needed ata big premium just because it assumed there was always upside to defense spending growth. >> maybe slightly better than expected, jason, but there's lots and lots and lots of spending going on last year, this year and in the year ahead. if you're getting just behind inflation if it increases, does that ultimately suggest that you want to be in other cyclical areas of the space other than defense? >> yeah, i think so. you know, if i looked up the defense budget, i think it's slightly a net positive. i think as mike mentioned, there was some

>> northrop grumman, you can say this about lockheed martin or l 3 harris, all of these companies thate even primarily defense focused, that, yes, those stocks for better or worse, whether they should be or not from an investor standpoint, have been trading in line with expectations around that defense budget the expectation now is -- there had been fears and you saw the stock sell off because there had been worries that you'd see a biden administration come in and cut that budget pretty aggressively that has not been the case flat is the new up for those budgets. warden certainly believes that is going to be the case. albeit at these elevated levels we've seen in recent years for defense spending, but northrop grumman specifically with some of the big ticket programs that it has right now, again, as another analyst mentioned to me is poised to become the fastest growing defense company over the next decade given everything we're seeing with nuclear deterrents in space and the like. >> and the stock is up 3.8% over the last week. >>> it is time now for a cnbc news update. rahel solomon
