neil bradley, great catching up with you. now to chad bernstein, the senior white house economic adviser. thanks for coming. >> my pleasure. >> neil: what is your take on the jobs number and this debate that it could be stronger without these extended unemployment benefits? >> this job report shows we're in the midst of a historic labor market recovery that is delivering real tangible benefits to the american families and to the american economy. the first four months since this president took the oath of office, there's been over two million jobs created. that's an underlying pace of over 540,000 jobs per month. that is unprecedented at the beginning of any presidential administration. we saw wage gains in today's report. we saw an over 400,000 decline in long-term employment. i heard the tail end of your conversation with neil. those two million jobs, they're net new jobs. they're not robots. they're people that have come in to the job market and gotten work. so yes, there's some supply constraints and bottle necks that are
