we all work and live here, it's a good city and safe city. that's not what you think when you see a guy ate local pharmacy and having at it with someone. they're in jail. we will catch you. make no mistakes about that. we're good at what we do. we'll keep going until we catch the people responsible for these crimes. we hope to keep that going in the right direction and listen the frequency of these viral videos that we keep seeing on news and social media. next category is car break ins. here is another thing that tends to go viral. if you look at where we were in 2017, it was the worst year we had ever had. we ended that year with over 30,000 car break inns. ins. we shifted our focus. car break ins that continued in 2019 and 2020. we're starting to go back up. we'll get a handle on that. put together a plan that we believe will make a difference. more officers on beat. particularly in the corridors that people visit our cities. that's where our problems are concentrated and that's where we will be. we have to be there. we have to be consiste

we are in the downtown, out of the city. it should be full of people full of proud, but it's pretty quiet behind me. most people are still staying at home. many businesses are still closed because large parts of the city still without electricity still without running water. and in the low lying parts of the city, there are many highways that are still submerged deep in route. and we've got the fuel gauge tunnel. and it was very easy to see how dangerous it would have been if you were in a car riding a bicycle. how dangerous it would have been if you were stuck in those areas. when the rain, the torrential rain pulled down earlier this week. so the clean up teens are very busy, you can hear some of the, the work being done just around us. clean teams up pumping out water from some of these basement areas. low lying areas, the clearing out piles of cars, cars, what it is dated with walter and abandon. it's quite difficult to get around the city, a lot of roads, a close, there's quite a bit of mud everywhere. and also the subw
