i thought it was interesting when the tokyo governor yuriko koike said the key in handling this pandemice to shibuya to find out how young people found the new lines from the government. let's take a listen. i haven't even received a ticket to get vaccinated. my parents onlyjust got theirjobs. i can sense we are getting too used to a state of emergency, _ so it's not stopping - people from going out. shejust had herfirst shot yesterday and i've made my appointment. so we're getting vaccinated when we can. if the government really wants to stop the spread of the virus, they will have to lock us down and offer financial support. without it, people would go out and go to work because they need to earn money. as you heard, it almost feels like the japanese model of etiquette is no longer working. we are brought up not to cause problems or trouble for other people and that is partly why many people actually obliged during the first and second state of emergencies, even though there was no penalty even if you went out. now the olympics are taking place in the city, that argument no longer work
