san francisco, the city of course, canceling last year's fourth of july celebration. because of the pandemic. but this year there on the city is preparing for the holiday along the waterfrontnefit district says up to 100,000 people are expected for the big celebration on sunday night. now those heading near the big firework show in san francisco will have several options when it comes to public transportation. beauty will have extra service before the show caltrain, adding more southbound trains once it's over, and bart will have additional trains, leaving the embarcadero station after its regular service. ends at nine o'clock. contra costa county fire protection district is reminding residents about the dangers of fireworks, though especially during a very dry and drought conditions. firefighters put on a demonstration this morning near kirker pass road and conquered to show just how fast fires can burn out of control. they say all fireworks are extremely dangerous and illegal and contra costa county even the so called safe and sane ones. fire departed is expecting a very busy to life. fourth weekend and is increasing staffing at fire stations all across the district. er
