austan and i are in total agreement on this. a million jobs is awesome.states has led the way in terms of recovering from covid. i do think that the vaccine is the number one reason that the united states has recovered so quickly. it is great news. there are jobs out there by the way for anybody who wants a job can find one right now which is why i think the enhanced unemployment benefits and moratorium on evictions is a bad policy. it is encouraging people not to get back in the workforce. what i worry a little bit. i do worry about whether this -- the government reaction to the delta variant is going to shut things down again. i hope i'm wrong about that. we are seeing delays now in school openings, and more and more restrictions on stores. the other thing is i'm a little more worried than austan is about inflation. i do see it and i think it is getting worse, not better. even though we got really good wage data, austan, the inflation rate is running ahead of the higher wages, which means people's real purchasing power is declining. >> dana: you can see
