let's talk to lucy dennis from the group. lucy, what inspired you to do this?need to support them, they are going through a really difficult time. i knew there was something that we could do so these rucksacks do bring them some happiness, i hope, in such a horrendous times. what information do you get about these children from the council? there was a list of 48 children, that list had their ages and their genders. from that we could tailor make these rucksacks for that child. you're a mum of three. you know exactly what it's like to have someone so young to protect. when you have seen what is happening in kabul and beyond, and knowng that you could do something here in the community, how does that make you feel? as a mum, i can't imagine what they are going through, it is a living hell at the moment. these little rucksacks are just a little bit of something, a glimmer of light in really dark time for these poor children. you have had many parcels coming through the door here, over £2000 worth of goods, is this appeal going to continue and how can people help
