murdock's lawyers says he spoke to murdock at a detention center on monday and explains why he finallyt want law enforcement spending more time on this fake crime instead of focusing on solving the murders of maggie and paul. >> martin savidge joins us now. this is so bizarre. so they're now investigating he had a housekeeper who died in his house. then his son and wife were shot to death in the house. that's still unsolved. and now he allegedly hired somebody to shoot himself in the head for his one surviving son. where is he now? >> well, right now he is said to be in a drug rehabilitation program. but i got a phone call from one of his attorneys, and he said that it is their understanding that an arrest warrant has now been issued for alex murdock, and it is for conspiring to commit insurance fraud. as a result of that the attorney says their client is expected to turn himself into authorities intime tomorrow. now, this being south carolina it is possible that he could get a bond hearing tomorrow. and if he's given bond it's very likely he could make that bond and then he would be q

>> right. >> tell us what's behind this. >> murdock has a son.t had come through, $10 million. they are a very wealthy family. very legally prominent, have been for decades in that region of rural south carolina. it unraveled because alex murdock survived getting shot in the head. the plan was apparently, according to law enforcement which they say alex murdock has confessed to, he wanted this man to kill him, then the family would get the insurance money and alex murdock wouldn't have any problems because he would be dead. remember, the day before the shooting occurred, it had been revealed by his law firm that alex murdock had allegedly stolen millions of dollars from the law firm. in fact, they let him go. there was a separation from the law firm. and also murdock had admitted publicly to having an opioid addiction going back some 20 years. so police were always suspicious when the very next day it looks like somebody tries to kill him, especially when two months earlier, somebody did kill his wife and son. and so this raises the question, if

alex murdock's best friend and also "the godfather" of one of his children.ns this is being investigated by state authorities is that's highly unethical. and any sort of financial settlement that was reached, which there was, $500,000, could have been looked upon as perhaps skewed in favor of the murdock family. and that said, the surviving sons of satterfield say they haven't received a dime despite the fact this was settled sometime ago. this raises another question that's been heard a lot in this case with alex murdock, where did the money go? so that's why you've got these kind of two things in the same death that are being investigated. as you pointed out, the hampton county coroner is saying, hold on a minute. there was no autopsy. why was that? there should have been. this is a trip and fall. and why is it that on her death certificate, it lists natural causes when, in fact, trip and fall is not a natural cause. this begins to raise another dominant theme in all of the investigations here, and that is that the murdock family, which has been connected t
