casey steagall, ktvu fox two news. bay area health officials are telling people that now is the time to go get the flu shot. they are recommending everyone, six months and older get that shot, they say during last year's flu season, the safety precautions that people took against covid, such as. masking social distancing and hand washing helped to keep flu cases down. but this year, the number of flu cases are expected to be higher due to schools and businesses reopened people going back to the office. doctors say there is plenty of vaccine to go around. it's readily available. so either the health department here primary care office or the pharmacies should all have it readily available, so we want to be ahead of it. we want don't want to see those numbers so whether it's flu or covid. we'd like to see everyone get vaccinated as soon as possible. free flu shots are available at many locations around the bay area through the fall. all right, let's get you outside with that jacket maybe even a sweater under it, right? m
