it's the philippino american history month community legacy awards. been in the u.s. for so long. the soldiers who fought in world war ii. the professionals who came in the 1960's. i moved to the u.s. in 2000 to get my masters. all of us have our own stories. all of us have our own american dreams. many of us have struggled and succeeded. many have made their mark and paved the way for the younger generation. there are those who continue to make an impact especially in this year when we've been suffering so much because of the pandemic. tonight we honor the trail blazers. the essential workers, the student leaders and their educators. to present our first awards, please welcome jennifer and raymond. >> good evening everybody. i'm the president of the philippino bar association of northern california. what better way to celebrate know history, know self than to bring together two change makers in the fight for justice. bill retired last july as a community lawyer. rob was appointed justice last march as a first philippino american attorney general for
