commissioner jim burns is pushing it. there is changes that i see. i drive through there not every day but when i do go by downtown, i usually make it a point to swing around there. i don't know that there are dramatic changes. there are changes on hyde and turk and golden gate. that is right in there. a step in the right direction. more importantly, close to my heart is the pedestrian fatality on union and franklin street. that is my kids route.
