the bay area tonight, a frost advisory posted in the north bay and also the east bay, the coldest temperatures going to be in the north bay valleysof these temperatures probably dropping down the upper 20's about probably the mid 30's in spots. so very cold there and then you've got mid to some upper 30's in the east bay. so frost, real possibility across a good part of the bay area away from the coastline and the bay lows looking like this overnight tonight about 31 degrees in santa rosa 34 in the napa valley. 37. and livermore for a cold morning, 38 degrees and talking about 35 in antioch inside the bay. not quite as cold. but you stuff. some upper 30's and some low 40's for lows. high pressure setting the jet stream. well to the nor that is keeping us very, very dry out there. and that's the way it's going to hold on. we're seeing that offshore wind kicking into. and with that offshore wind, that dry epconditions continuing around the bay or just a week offshore wind right now. but this is likely to ramp up overnight, especially over the mountain tops but 1000 feet or so some gusty winds developing over there overnight tonight

so what tell us that this time of year those numbers going to drop off, especially in the north bay valleys. you're seeing the temperatures coming down now, 52 in petaluma. 54 in santa rosa likely down to the 40's in some of the north bay valleys overnight tonight. now the big change in the weather pattern high pressure building in the big dome of high pressure sending the jet stream. well, to the north, they're getting pummeled by heavy rainfall. now in the 7 northwest, you see all those storms just kind of rolling in that atmospheric river taking aim for the north and they're seeing some bob possibility of some flooding. you see the areas shaded in red. those some of the tributaries and some of the rivers that they are expecting to see some flooding along those spots are specially in washington. so they're getting the rain. we're catching a break here right now, just a bit of a sea breeze kind of kicking in right now. we're going to see more of that overnight tonight into early tomorrow morning. but i think by tomorrow afternoon again, we're enjoying some gorgeous weather. lots of sunshin

for those of you in the east bay valleys and south bay highest amounts. for those of you in the north bay, specifically that northwest region or you could easily get up to 2 inches just in the lower valleys alone. but we do have some dangerous winds heading our way 45 miles per hour or less. downed trees and downed power lines going to be an issue starting monday night through early tuesday morning and then we're going to track the winds out there right now on the calm side. but temperatures cooling down because of that like a blanket of cloud cover already in the mid to upper 40's along the coast. and for east bay valleys, widespread low to mid 50's around the bay area shoreline with oakland in downtown san francisco currently at 54 degrees. but overnight lows tonight going to be near freezing, especially for those of you in santa rosa 36 degrees wouldn't be surprised if patchy frost does form with high temperatures tomorrow. well below average. 5 to nearly 10 degrees below normal, 59 degrees for half moon bay 57 for napa. everyone else in the low to mid 60's and taking a look ahead

this is in the north bay valley where the fog has been persistent. are looking out over the city. we look over the east bay hills. if we look at the camera, that shows us the valley right now. this is a good-looking sign. you can see all up and down over the likes of 580. the sunrise will happen before 7:00 this morning. the current numbers range in the low to mid 40s for the most places. i have 237 degrees numbers on here in the north bay. it is santa rosa and petaluma. bundle up. it is mid 50s in the city. the visibility is below a mile right now in santa rosa. that is good. that is really good considering how low it has been for much of the last week. you will encounter some very isolated patchy fog. i do not want to give you the idea if you are getting off on the road that you are free and clear. you know the trouble spots if you live in the north bay. expect fog. everybody else will be great. it is windy right now. this is in the mountains. this is an offshore wind event. there are 36 mile an hour costs. the offshore winds are coming and basical

the cootest temperatures for the north bay valley dropping down to around 40 degrees. quite as chilly as this morning. and then as we burn off some locally dense fog early tomorrow morning, we'll warm up. temperature should be close to 60 degrees by noon. along the coast you'll stay around 60 for the afternoon, but mostly mid-60s for high temperatures tomorrow. a couple of degrees above normal for november. the wind gusts, 15 to 20 miles be tomorrow d esday night. this would be a distinct concern if we hadn't had all of that rain in october and early this month, but fortunately that really tamped down the fire danger. those high winds will diminish as we head through wednesday, down to regular wind gusts by wednesday afternoon. the wind should not be a problem if you have any outdoor plans on thanksgiving. temperatures will be in the 40s to start the day. a little cooler inland with low temperatures in the upper 40s along the bay and along the coast. tonights will warm up. close to 70 degrees inland for high temperatures thanksgiving day, even low 60s along the coast.
