this is going to try to drift its way down into the south bay south bay generally is going to have our lightest of rainfall from this event. and generally further north you go. we are seeing some of our heaviest of rainfall zooming out across the vegion that atmospheric river has shifted further and further southward. now you can actually see where the bull's eye of it is right now. that's really pushing a lot of that moisture right on into the central coast. the central valley in the sierra continuing to pick up what is going to be some deep snow fall as much as 20 inches above lake tahoe. 3 inches around lake level up there. but here in the bay area, even though the core of the atmospheric river shifted to our south. we're still looking at some active rainfall and that's we're still going to see some spotty showers this morning and at times we will see pockets of heavier rain popping up and that does mean a very wet commute into work. we will see some dry conditions towards the afternoon and overall the rest of the forecast after today looks to continue to remain dry. so just get thr

in fact, tomorrow is likely to be an even warmer day for areas like the south bay. we're going to see some solid 70's upper 70's in some cases today. it's mostly 60's to low 70's for daytime highs. even a half moon bay right along the coastline. most of our bayshore well, up into the low 70's and the south bay even tapping into the mid 70's for campbell right at 74 degrees. east bay temperatures low 70's across the board while oakland richmond concord orinda moraga each in the upper 60's north bay temps upper 60's for the most part, until you get to the coastline where it will be a little cooler as you'd expect tomorrow and thursday remain in the 70's solidly in tomorrow for some spots like the south bay could be our warmest a slight cool down into the weekend as far as the bridges go, it has been an easy go on the golden gate bridge this morning. look at how nice and clear it's looking out there. the bay bridge on the other hand, is still a bit of a slow one. but once those the metering lights turn off. you can expect this back up to pick up pretty quickly. a san ma

really are concentrated in the south bay. it's taking the longest to get to the south bay. but now you are definitely seeing the wettest of conditions at this very moment. that's going to have an impact on routes such as your drive along 87 as well as 6.80 to 80 and highway one o one. all these areas are very wet this morning. snow great is also looking at some very wet conditions just some light showers down here, but enough to leave some standing water on roadways and just make for a slick morning commute. north bay. already dried out. you are first to see the rain last night. your first to be saying goodbye to it. now you're going to be looking at a drier morning commute ahead of us than the rest of the bay is in the midst of currently right now. temperatures are in the 50's to 60's. so it's a cool start to this day school. it's wet. just give yourselves. maybe that extra 15 minutes to get into work is the last thing you want to be doing is rushing it. when we do have some ponding water and roads. and i know is i was driving in. i certainly saw some of those wet spots. y
