but first, steve harrigan has more. parents have been charged with unvoluntary manslaughter. they were last seen publicly in a car during the arraignment of their son. it's not clear that deputies have any idea where they are at this point but they seem to be on the run right now and a man hunt is underway. the fbi and the u.s. marshall's office is trying to track these parents down. we're learning more details about what happened in the run up to the shooting. the prosecutor laid out the case that the father and the 15-year-old son bought the pistol that was used in the shooting together. the mother and the son trained on it, posted online about it as a christmas gift. the first alarm came the day before the school shooting. that's when a teacher noticed the 15-year-old searching for ammunition online during class. the second alarm, even greater. that happened when a teacher noticed that a drawing he mad of a bloody figure with bullets and a gun with "the thoughts won't stop, help me." here's the prosecutor. >> but the

let's go to steve harrigan who's been following all of this from the beginning. steve. >> reporter: neil, a dramatic arraignment there of the parents, each of whom now face four charges of involuntary manslaughter. each of those charges could carry a penalty of up to 15 years. as far as this arraignment goes, it looks like the prosecutor got exactly what she wanted. she wanted $500,000 bail. she said these two are a flight risk. they missed their arraignment on friday, they were discovered after a manhunt that included the fbi and u.s. marshals as well as detroit police. they were found on the eastern side of detroit in a warehouse basement in hiding. they had gone to an atm, taken out $4,000, less than a mile from the canadian border. she said they're a flight risk and demanded that high bail. that's exactly what she got. the other drama was hearing the parents speak for the first time in this arraignment. the judge read out the charges one by one, the four slain students aged 17, 17, 16 and 14. each time the parents one at a time pleading not guilty, and the mot

but first, steve harrigan with the latest from oxford, michigan. , more troubling information coming out about this 15-year-old suspected shooter from law enforcement officials. they found two videos on his cell phone as well as a detailed journal which laid out plans to attack the school and kill as many students as possible. a number of red flags to raise about that meeting inside the school. it happened on the day of the shooting between the suspected shooter, his parents and school officials. several teachers were troubled about the student's behavior. i'm not clear what exactly that behavior was. the decision was made to allow him to go back to class. two hours after that meeting, the 15-year-old came out of the bathroom with a 9 millimeter gun, walked the hallways and shot people at point blank range, killed four. according to the video footage, he shot at random. his father bought that gun four days before the incident. the 15-year-old has been moved out of juvenile detention center. he faces four charges of first degree murder. in this villa
