we all know parking can be tough in san francisco and you might be having to park on a steep angle, might have to circle the block several times after just trying to find a space. then comes all of the confusing time limits and street restrictions. now, hundreds of neighbors are banding together to change parking laws in popular neighborhood. this morning, gloria rodriguez is live with the issue costing people thousands of dollars. gloria: we are talking about parking citations. they are wrecking up hundreds of dollars on parking fines, many residents having to choose from paying for rent, food, or their ticket. they want the city to offer residential parking permits or a program for people who live there. san francisco's mission bay neighborhood is very popular with oracle park and chase center, but residents say living here comes at a cost in the form of parking tickets. meters that normally cost one dollar to five cents jump to eight dollars during concerts or game days. this group of affordable housing residents have been trying to get the attention of city leaders to change public pa

it is going to crank up these numbers tomorrow in san francisco about 70 that golden gate park. 71 downtown san francisco, 70 in the mission. 69, the marine about 71 degrees in pacifica, 70 in half moon bay. 73 degrees in millbrae. 74 and sunny in burlingame. as you work your way down the peninsula, these temperatures really warm up. 75 degrees in redwood city. 77 in san carlos, the south bay filled with 70's all tomorrow afternoon. it will be a bit on the hazy side of the south bay, though, same with the east bay and those temperatures again going to climb well into the 70's. some places getting closer to 80 degrees. i think by tomorrow afternoon, a place like walnut creek and concord, about 73 in san leandro. 72 in hercules get the idea. these are some warm temperatures for %his time of year. maybe some record breaking as we head into the next couple days to dry as can be as high pressure, sits over head of those offshore winds. winds do become more on shore this weekend. we'll cool down the temperatures a little bit. partly cloudy, much cooler to start out next week. >> thanks, lauren. s

look at san francisco today, golden gate park mission, financial districts into the mid 70's daly city. at 75 overnight at half. moon bay at 76 temperatures along the bay shore anywhere from the upper 60's for just a couple of spots to mostly the low to mid 70's, san jose and campbell today at 76 degrees. while freeman through hayward in the low to mid 70's for you, oakland at 75 degrees today, north bay, some of our warmest spots sonoma in the bill at 78. well, santa rosa right below that 80 degree mark at 79 degrees and tomorrow expected to be the day. we could see an 80 year 2 and likely even a few more records broken. now friday, we start to turn the corner. start to see temperatures falling. just a touch. we're still going to be in the mid 70's, though, friday, saturday and sunday. beautiful weekend weather to enjoy. but obviously we do have some heightened fire dangers to be a little cautious with that. and also, obviously, despite how nice this weather is, we'd like to see it. not so nice sometime soon. monday for valentine's day things. a little cooler falling into the 60's. th
