we'll abi believe to move forward then. chief, you are on. >> thank you president walton. good to be here in person today. hello board and supervisors. we have a powerpoint presentation. i'm going to go through these first couple of slides this is information many of you seen before. slide shows our progress from 2016 to now in terms of the recommendations that have been found. you can see, the progress still going from beginning that line, black line is where the u.s. d.o.j. terminated the agreement. we started over with the california d.o.j. in 2018. you can see the progress. as we stand here today, we have completed 245 recommendations. i say they are in substantial compliance because the work is not anywhere near complete. we still have 27 recommendations. this slide actually outlines what i just spoke about what remains. as you see, the different -- there's five categories of reform that was outlined by the d.o.j. in those five categories the accountability by recruitment hiring and personnel use of force, recruitment and hiring and personnel was the category that we
