we had an amazing partner, event production company called downs bizarre, alex, who is a haight ashbury merchant to works hard with us to make sure this event is smooth and, you know, if you had asked me back in 2013 or 2014 whether in 2022, 4-20 would include food trucks, music, comedians and a v.i.p. area, i would have asked you what you were smoking? but it was probably the smoothest event that we've had. i really want to congratulate our new ranger dave murphy, marcus santiago and the entire team. it does require us to be out, alert and attentive from about 5:00 a.m. to about 6:00 or 7:00 p.m., but the cleanup went swimmingly last night. the park is in great shape. and i think for the entire day there may have only been four -- nothing serious. so everyone was healthy. and obviously, there was enthusiasm after a two year high-atus. but i'm very proud of our collective effort. it is earth month and you can celebrate earth month by getting outside in the parks and participating in a number of activities and volunteer events, including a park-wide volunteer day in golden gate park with

but it's really hard to see nopa and haight ashbury as not being the same thing, so that's my level of ex-temperizing because we're sleep derived and we need to get sleep and i wanted to weigh in on family members living on grove. it is the same neighborhood. what i really got into the queue to discuss was the situation with the tenderloin. we have to be realistic in that we have two more mapping days and we have to come to some agreement but half or a quarter of the tenderloin is, like, a quarter of a district anywhere else, right. it's an impossible hole to plug. i'm a little bit confused about how we define emerging markets, how they define emerging market and where we go from there for the simple reason that when we had dog tact split from potrero hill, and they were from miss patch and said dog patch needs to be merged. i don't now that looks but for that that was a split in how the emerging market were thinking of themselves and coming from d10 which we think we belong together but we have several splits on how we divide up, i can hear that and understand that and sympathize but

haight-ashbury has been home to many homeless youth seeking refuge from abusive families, foster care and group home situations and juvenile justice system involvement. early in the pandemic, despite lawsuit by opponents, haight-ashbury neighborhood welcomes the sleeping village which provided approximately 44 spaces for people to safely shelter-in-place outdoors with access to services, bathrooms and showers. we can and must go further and provide the transitional housing this neighborhood...
