this is mary ellen carol, the department of the emergency management. thank you for having us.'re going to hear from me and a number of my colleagues. we're -- we appreciate being invited to provide a briefing on our street response teams. we, san francisco, are a national leader in this area. and we have a continuum of responses to support people who are on the streets. these responses range from ensuring outreach teams and clinicians are working with people to build relationships, provide care and make connections to shelter housing and services. we have interdisciplinary teams that support hsoc which address health and safety issues and encampments and rapid response team that assesses emergencies and critical incidents in the moment. so today we're going to be talking about a number of these teams. i'm joined by assistant chief simon pang from the fire department. dr. angelica from the department of public health and my deputy director who leads the emergency management 911 dispatch center. we do have slides also. so today we're going to talk about the following street resp
