you might have some plans may be to hit the beach during this heat wave. but weather officials are saying you're going to want to be careful. kron on's charles clifford joining us from pacifica this afternoon with the very latest on what beachgoers need to be prepared for this week. charles looks beautiful out there. >>it is. it's really nice. you know, whatever it heats up inland. a lot of people like to drive out to the beach because it's fantastic. your it stays nice and cool. but as you mentioned, the national weather service does have a warning for folks. it's going to take a look at a graphic here. they're saying that from 03:00am today until 09:00pm on wednesday. tomorrow that there is a a high risk of sneaker waves and rip currents and that the swells could be between 8 and 12 feet in some places. it could get as high as 20 feet. so very dangerous. and this extends from big sur in the south all the way up to the mendocino sonoma border up in the north. now they are recommending that no one goes in the water over today or tomorrow. and if you do have
