it's been held up by the national governors association. we streamlined the process and trained 1500 cna's. we made the process simpler and have them out there. what we are hearing from our long-term care facilities, it's always difficult to try to hire into these jobs because we need to pay these people to take care of our parents and the value they need. right now, the state of minnesota has a pipeline to train these people and get them out there. we have a budget that would fund everything that is there, and it is simply waiting to be signed. walking away from the fixes for political reasons is hurting these nursing homes. we need to get back and have the legislature fix it and get it done so minnesota can move forward.
