when it got too hot for the ted wani family to hike it pleasant and ridge this morning, they drove 33 miles to tilden park in the oakland berkeley hills actually going to be cooler here because it's by the water, so that's why we came here now we want to hike when it's cool to stay hydrated and you know, it's much cooler here a little closer to the ocean. so yes, they worry about folks hiking when it's too hot. or folks who hike too infrequently . it's going to get too hot, and people will get dehydration. people who don't understand it. probably don't even take enough water with them. many parks and open spaces will be closed sunday and monday, both for hiker safety and fire prevention . absolutely the firefighters should be focusing on putting fires out. and we should be, you know, safe and not not, you know, using those resources that can that can be used, you know, for better purposes. wanna park is closed. it is legally closed , and that means you can't go in and use it just because you think you can you can get cited for that. and there isn't the normal amount of protection should you get injured? so it's a very dangerous thing
