i'm gia vang. we're learning more about a deadly crash on the peninsula. the two people killed parents of young children. their daughters in the car when the crash happened. nbc bay area's alyssa gourd joins us. you spoke with the family members of those victims? >> reporter: that's right. and the physical impact of that crash was so severe that here on el camino real, you can see where one of those cars was propelled up into the housing development. and police have not released how exactly this crash happened. however, we have spoken with multiple witnesses who said they saw cars racing down the street at the time and running into another vehicle. neighbors here have said it's just been heartbreaking to watch it all unfold. flowers marked the spot where two people were killed during a fiery crash on el camino real and singer avenue friday. this man who didn't want to be identified tell us the people kills were his brother and sister-in-law. their two seven-year-old daughters were in the car but are expected to be okay. he says the family was driving home
