it snarled traffic on the bay bridge for several hours today. >> this is video from the citizen app that shows the collision inside a tunnel on the lower deck of the bay bridge happened about 1 o'clock. san francisco fire says 7 vehicles were involved. affecting a total of 18 people, including some children. police say that 8 adults the children were treated on scene for very minor injuries to people. also, children were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. and while clearing the scene, emergency crews shut down 3 eastbound lanes and that led to a major traffic delay for several hours that this was the scene of the traffic little earlier today trying to get on the bridge from bryant street on-ramp in san francisco to get to the east bay. the traffic has since cleared up. investigators have not yet said exactly how that crash happened. >> emergency crews also responded to a multi vehicle accident on the car. cain is bridge between crocke%t and allay earlier today. according to the crockett cockiness fire department. that crash happened on eastbound interstate 80 minut

bay area freeways. one shooting happened in oakland , the other on the bay bridge heading into san francisco ktvu . greg liggins reports. local official is renewing the call for more surveillance cameras on the roads. at roughly 10 30 friday night, chp officers were blocking off lanes on the westbound side of the bay bridge near treasure island. they were investigating a shooting that left one person injured by flying debris. no word on their condition. hours later, just before three a.m. saturday another shooting this one on eastbound 80 near the 5 80 interchange in oakland coming off the bay bridge. the chp says two vehicles were involved in that shooting, which resulted in one death. police found the body and vehicle in the 900 block of amateur street in richmond to victims in another vehicle were driven to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries, according to the chp. former hercules mayor now, city councilman dan romero says these shootings highlight the need to expand the use of roadway surveillance cameras and license plate readers to catch criminals something he's been advocating
