gary. thanks so much we appreciate the report. amanda's facing arson charges in a fire that damaged three apartment units at a complex and pleasant hill. police say officers responded to the sunnyvale apartment complex near contra costa boulevard after reports of an explosion just before nine last night. they say marlon perry was limping away from that fire and caring knives. they say the 58 year old started cutting himself when they told him to put those knives down. they used windbag grounds. just do him. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. fortunately, no one else was hurt. well, the house of representatives is telling members to remove tiktok from all of their devices. that directive comes from the houses chief administrative officer who cited a number of security risks with that app. congress has already approved a measure banning tiktok on executive government devices. that's as part of the spending package that passed last week. the houses actions align with that policy. officials are worried that the app could share sensitive data from users with the chinese government. i think any business that's uh, you

gary ktvu, fox. two news firefighters are investigating a deadly fire at a house in san francisco's forrest hill neighborhood. the fire broke out on my door a avenue near laguna honda boulevard shortly before nine o'clock this morning, firefighters rescued an adult from the second floor who later died. investigators have not yet determined what caused that fire. and one of the suspected gang members accused of killing and oakland toddler during a freeway shooting was ordered today held without bail. johnny jackson is one of three men facing murder charges in connection with the killing of 23 month old jasper woo. as you can see, here, our camera was outside of the courtroom. jackson's family members were in core but declined to talk with us. the arraignment was postponed until january, 5th to enter a plea. the toddler was asleep in his mother's car she drove on interstate 80 in oakland in november last year when jasper was hit by a stray bullet. prosecutors say that bullet came from a gunfight on the freeway between two rival gangs. an inmate at santa rita jail in dublin says that he was beaten by alameda co
