let's get to start with the weather with dave spahr. good morning, dave. stephanie, good morning. and good morning, everybody. it's of sunshine going on for the entire weekend. a little flavor of spring. we're going to have with in the morning hours a little bit on the chilly side as we're experiencing. 32 santa rosa still. >> right there, the freezing mark. we see also for livermore, everybody else at least above freezing. we have 33 fremont other cold spot. 36 up to napa with 46. meanwhile, for san francisco, windsor temperature contrast, half a dozen degrees or so behind where we were this time from yesterday's just the dry air in the lack of the winds that are allowing temperatures in order to fall. we see high cloudiness going on for this afternoon and also tomorrow, the real action coming up from the northwest, however, won't be until tuesday with winds in some very cold temperatures coming our way with a little bit of precipitation. and i said precipitation advisory. 59 at high noon by 3 o'clock. we're talking 62 tomorrow. we're probably see a couple of 70's poke their head

let's check in on our forecast with dave spahr.r a lot. a lot good morning, stephanie. good morning, everybody. >> yes, some high cloudiness still make its appearance here and the south bay just a little bit left over, but it's cleared most of the bay area as of this far. >> 35 still chilly degrees up there to santa rosa. but 40's pretty much over a good chunk of the bay and a lot. the 51 for antioch. 37 chilly degrees there for livermore at this hour. winds are kind of offshore today. they will be there's going to be a shift in the winds out of the northwest, particularly on the western quadrant. you're going to feel with the arrival of that next system, which is largely dry. but with all of that, this wind advisory kicks in at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. it will be with us overnight into tuesday and in its wake will be left with some cold temperatures there. some of those high clouds we spoke of earlier. you see them kind of evaporating away as we go into the mostly sunny mode for today. breaking it down for you. 63 by 3 o'cloc

let's kick things off with the weather with dave spahr. stephanie. good morning. and good morning, everybody. pretty nice. a pretty picture that we have to start the day. there's the east bay shoreline. little bit of oranges for you as we break out the water colors going on and lots of sunshine for your sunday. this is where temps are going to bump up there. >> near the springtime range, we'll see maybe popping a couple little 70's out there for today. got some work, though. cut out for us at 33 santa rosa. 34 meanwhile for napa. so pretty chilly up there in the north bay to start things off. we're seeing the 30's also litter the east bay, too 40 for antioch. 38. meanwhile for san jose, quick comparison from yesterday. actually a little bit ahead and many of these spots yesterday was quite chilly. we'll still see those high clouds today, although they probably won't be as intense as yesterday. so we'll go ahead and call a good chunk of the day. mostly sunny, minor on those winds and those temperatures looking pretty generous. a lot of readings will be in the 60's

dave spahr in the weather center with the very latest. morning for a lot of folks will actually actually into the early afternoon to, you know, really the bull's eye for activity will be probably about 11 o'clock through. >> say 2 or 3 this afternoon, the dropping into the south bay already kind of overcast. we have that kind of waiting for things to happen. so it's the calm prior to the stormy afternoon going on here for us. let's give you kind of a snapshot on storm tracker. 4, some splotches of some light rain showers. but you see that agitation up towards the north. there. that's kind of where the line is, where the frontal boundary as meaning that after it passes with everything, we'll have some cooler temperatures on the backside of all of that. we're not going to see snow levels with this activity early next week dropped to what they were last week. but we will see maybe perhaps some thunderstorm activity more than we did see last go-around simply because more education is in place here in temperature check for you. got the mid 40's

dave spahr has been tracking all those wet and windy conditions for a good morning, stephanie. good morning, everybody. chile is how we start the we could have been cold, but this kind of helped out a little bit. >> kind of moderating our temperatures. a little bit of a rain going on this morning. the higher elevations like mount tam still getting a little bit of snow, however, into the afternoon. this will all break up. we are looking for other batch, though of rain coming our way. that will be tomorrow afternoon. temperature check for you reading still in the upper 30's in some pockets up there in the north bay. 39 still hanging on to livermore, but everybody else in the east bay's pretty much made it into the lower 40's, not a lot of movement. however, on the thermometer expected today might scratch up to about 50 or so winds are fairly calm. single digits again, not very active. a little pop with these winds expected tomorrow afternoon with some of the more moderate to heavy rain at times, 12 o'clock. 3 o'clock we're talking about well in the mid to upper 40's will get prob

dave spahr in the weather center with an update for us. all right, stephanie, good morning. and good morning, everybody. and we are visited by some light rain showers across some of the bay going on here. >> this will break up for us in the late morning hours will be treated to some sunshine for the afternoon but might see a resurgence late in the afternoon. probably the contra costa county looks like it might develop solano county again after we had some daytime heating this cold air. that's us upstairs. so technically can deliver even some spurts of hail or even some lightning strikes. we've got 40's across the region as you'll notice that this our current winds kind of offshore as the general direction because the low is towards our south of the core of it. there's a live shot coming in from downtown. there are a couple of breaks. it looks like at least some brighter spots before we go into some afternoon sunshine. so we'll say somewhat partly cloudy by the mid-afternoon. but again, adding the daytime heating for potentially a little last minute shower and we should see s
