it's clear russian and chinese armed forces are the most important exercise partners. these exercises begin over a decade ago but they become more important in recent years but at least several times a year with a large ground exercise and the maritime drills and also in partnership with countries and engage with tabletop exercises and with an evil and strategic aviation patrols which in a way our form of exercise. in a way in my view they become a core pillar of the defense relationship between russia and china and they do these now in more locations more types of weapons systems than ever before. there is some innovation seeing china contribute regularly to the annual russia strategic exercises and then moving to the center and then in 2021 when those exercises took place in belarus we are all waiting to see if those tanks would start showing up in that area but they decided to hold a special exercise of chinese territory the first time this exercise from 2021 took place in a chinese strategic level exercise. last year there were a number of countries that had the mo
