cnn's brynn gingras is live outside the courthouse on long island. brynn, what are you hearing?ring that george santos is in custody and this indictment has been unsealed. i want to give you some quick details as we're going through the paperwork. he is charged on a 13-count indictment according to those court documents, the charges include seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds and two counts of making materially false statements to the house of representatives. again, we're just getting this indictment, it has just been unsealed. we're hearing that santos is inside the federal courthouse behind me and he has been arrested on these charges and of course we're learning that he will see a judge later today. very likely on these charges, but we are still going through the paperwork to get the details of these counts. again, though, 13-count indictment just unsealed including wire fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds and two counts of making materially false statements to the house of representatives. >> brynn ging

straight to cnn's brynn gingras has been on this story for us for months.hard glossip after he learned the u.s. supreme court had intervened. tell us more. >> what a low and high for richard glossip. as i told you before this was a day before he was having his final visitation with his wife and that's when he learned the news about this stay. take a listen to our conversation. how are you doing? >> oh, doing great. i'm -- you know, it's a -- it's been a very interesting day to say the least. my wife and i were down for our last visit together. and i was taking my property down for her to pick up. and yeah, she was really worried, and concerned that she was really going to lose it at the end of the visit. they let us take some pretty awesome pictures. and then, yeah, and then we were sitting there. we had a half hour to go, and she -- they knocked on the door. they came to the door and asked us to come out in the hall and they took her and i out in the hall and told us we got the stay. >> reporter: so you got told together. >> it was amazing. huh? >> reporte

brynn, what are you seeing?er: yeah, boris, presumably the judge is d those to george santos for his arraignment. it's hard to tell exactly what's happening inside the courthouse right now because there are no communications allowed in federal court. so we'll get an update as soon as possible. but you just said 13 counts from wire fraud to money laundering, the allegations in stunning detail saying that george santos took a campaign contributions and spent the money on himself, buying luxury designer clothing. he paid off a car payment. and also that he reaped the benefits of covid unemployment benefits all while holding a job that afforded him $120,000 a year. so those are some of the allegations that have been detailed in that dozen pages indictment. 13 counts in total. and this morning he turned himself in to the fbi building in minneola, new york and then was brought here to the federal courthouse in central islip, new york. we didn't get a chance to even see him. but i have to tell you it's not very easy to

brynn gingras has been covering. walk us through the details again.e is a picture of the victim. it was a case of a mistake here and this guy opened fire. >> reporter: horrible tragic case in washington county. the grand jury listening to the evidence in this case, returning an indictment on three separate charges against kevin monaghan, a 65-year-old resident of washington county. the charges are second degree murder, reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence. this happened just last month in a rural area of upstate new york where kaylin gillis was in a car with her boyfriend and other friends. they were using gps, trying to find a neighbor, a friend's home for a party when they mistakenly turned up the driveway of kevin monaghan. when they realized their mistake, they started to turn around when monaghan fired two shots from his shotgun, one hitting gillis as they were trying to turn around in that driveway. we know that gillis died just a short time later. monaghan says he believes he was being menaced because there were loud noise
