just a few clouds aloft, not really talking any fog until you had a right to the coast and the goldenidge. we are seeing some offshore thunderstorms. look at all this green sitting well to the rest of us west of us. some cloud to a sea surface lightning out there that we've been seeing. but none of that's going to drift our direction. and that's because with this high pressure to our north and low to our south, we've got a very generous, offshore flow that's transporting warm, dry air out to the coast and keeping the fog away from us as this low moves northward through the course of the week, we're going to have the opportunity to tap back into a little bit of that ocean. cool there. that will cool us off a little bit, at least giving some relief to our inland areas today. notice the direction these clouds are heading away from the coastline. and along with that predominant winds out of the east will push right up to the coast and keep that fog and cool ocean air along with it from pushing into the bay. and that's why everyone except for the coast is going to be on the warm side. only

we finally did start to get more of the marine influence coming in through the golden gate and cooling down through the coast or in the bay it was humid and it was -- for any place through the water, temperatures that were well above average. part of the reason, we have a big pool of warm ocean water off the coast. we have been looking at temperatures below average for most of the summer. now there is a big pool of warm water. that is the reason the temperatures stayed so warm near the coast and the humidity levels are kind of high. that will change the next few days. if we watch the dew points, which are a good way of measuring humidity levels. by the time we get to friday, those numbers start coming down. if you have been feeling that at all in addition to the warmup, if it feels kind of sticky, not like southeastern u.s. sticky but it is by our standards humid, that will change by friday. san jose 71 for you. as we take a look at the inland valleys, there is concord, 71 as well. no wind there. we are not seeing much come in from the onshore flow. the numbers will cool down a bit over here, it's hot. you w
