. >> i want to begin with cnn's chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller. so, john, it's a big day tomorrow for donald trump. walk us through what we can expect to see at this fulton county jail. >> i think it's going to be minimalist, which is the secret service is going to get him on his plane in new jersey. they are going to fly into the airport there. they are going to have a full motorcade, abby. that means the limo, the bulletproof car that's carrying donald trump with lead cars from the secret service and the local police. they will have intersection control, which means as he passes by those roads, everything is going to be blocked. he will go into the sallyport in the jail. that's where you come in that back entrance. the gates close behind the car then the next set of gates open and you go the jail. the rest of the motorcade will reform for the departure. we will never actually see him until he gets back to the airport where he may make a statement. >> and that's going to be the key, the coming in and going out. but explain to us -- >> 20 minutes,

us senior justice correspondent, evan perez, and chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst, john miller. also with us, former federal prosecutor, jean rossi. and national security attorney, bradley moss. i want to get right to evan and john on the breaking news we're following, a texas woman charged with threatening to kill the judge overseeing donald trump's election interference case. evan, this woman is in texas, what are you learning? >> wolf, she made a threat. this was a voice mail she left in the chambers of judge tanya chutkan, overseeing the election subversion case of the former president. this threat, according to authorities, she leaves a threat that says, if trump doesn't get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you. she goes on to make additional threats. she also made threats to kill congressman sheila jackson lee. all democrats in washington, and members of the lgbt community. there's, obviously, a lot of threats like this that periodically make their way elected officials, judges, of course we saw the very serious assassination attempt of a supreme court justice in th

our analyst john miller joins us now. onald trump attacked the judge on social media and that now she's receiving death threats. you see a connection there? >> there is the connection that donald trump lashes out personally against prosecutors and play tents -- play tents -- plaintiffs. he says if you come after me we come after you and who is we? does he mean donald trump and his lawyers or his talking about his followers which harkens back to the capital violence. what we have in this case is with judge chutkan, the department of homeland security and the people who guarded that courthouse in texas went out to where the call originated from and they spoke t o abigail jo shry. using interstate commerce to threaten a federal official is a very various offense and i think what they are doing with this case is setting an early example which is people that make these threats will be dealt with. >> it was not just a threat to her but her entire family coming from that woman. >> and to a member of congress. >> i want to get you

cnn chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller joins us now. hn, let's begin with that dangerous threat to the judge. what do you make of all that? >> well, the threat comes from a phone call that comes from places -- a town called alvin, texas. federal protechive service officers from the department of homeland security went to that address, interviewed the women who made that call allegedly, abbie joe srier. she said i'm not going to go there and shoot anybody. i was drinking when i did it. her father testified she's a non-violent alcoholic. and, yet, they brought this charge because the recent court decisions really say as long as the person has a conscious disregard to the idea that their threat would be taken seriously and cause fear in the person it's directed at, that's still a crime. and that's a federal rime when you're threatening a federal judge. so she went in front of a different federal judge and was denied bail while they sort out what those conditions are going to be. >> john, how about the jurors in fulton county? the grand jury

with us now is cnn chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller. rity of all of this. are the resources to handle it especially since it looks like they are waiting to the back end of the week? >> they are. fulton county planned for in. for a long time, they have literally sent people forward to the other places trump has been indicted, new york, miami, washington, d.c., to see how that process has gone there and to adjust the sheriff's office will have the lead on this today, but atlanta pd is involved in the move from the airport to the jail. mutual aid agreements have been made with other towns and agencies. so some of this is baked in. >> is there a chance we might not see or hear from trump on thursday because there are two entrances to this place. >> there is a chance and better probably better than a chance, t this has been designed as wham, bam, in and out. arrive at the airport, motorcade to the jail, go no the grage entrance, enter the jail, get processed, come out, leave the same way you came, motorcade to the airport, no statements to th

now is former trump white house lawyer jim schultz, and also cnn chief law enforcement analyst john millerjohn, i want to start with you about this doxxing incident with the fulton county grand jurors. it's not just on its own. it is part of what seems to be a pattern here. it's that there is also a texas woman -- she's being charged with threatening the federal judge in washington d. c. handling that election interference case. and now we are also learning that the fulton county officials that are working with the fbi on some of the threats that have been aimed at some of those grand jurors -- how dangerous, from a law enforcement perspective, is this -- climate that we are in right now? >> what you are seeing is people doxxed the grandeurs names and then put their addresses and pictures from social media there. you see people making threats on other chat rooms and message boards, generally. and i have a little experience in the threat assessment world from the nypd where, we investigated a lot of these. the dark sir doxxers -- what fulton county and officials in the fbi are really on the

with me is chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller. d john, you've covered during your time on the nypd multiple cases of extremism of a number of kinds, and the rhetoric -- public rhetoric's connection to extremism. we've seen the former president's words helped drive people on january 6th, the events we saw that day. as a law enforcement professional is there a connection between the former president's rhetoric and the kinds of attacks we're seeing here? >> well, i don't think you can disconnect them when you have a former president saying to his supporters "if you come after me, we come after you." and then singling out the judge in new york, the prosecutor in new york, the judge in georgia, the prosecutor in georgia, the judge specifically in washington, d.c. there is not a large leap to say that is a cue to supporters to engage in this kind of conduct. >> when you look at the severity of these, you have a voicemail message left using the words "we want to kill you," by the way, that's a direct quote. but also things like doxing fol

john miller is cnn's chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst. have some expertise in ways to avoid being detected. how so? what are they doing? >> they've got some technical expertise. they know that authorities are going to be hunting for them online and trying to identify them for the purposes of prosecution. so they use voice over i.p. or google phone technology, things that are designed to conceal or spoof their i.p. addresses. they know how to cover their tracks. >> the threats were initially coming in on weekends but now the timing appears more random, we're told. does this sound like someone who feels empowered because so far they're getting away with it? >> it's not a someone. it is some people. these are likely gamers. this is a competition about who can create the most mayhem and the most disruption. they are online and comparing actions. and they started with targeting synagogues where the services were being livestreamed so that they could actually watch the evacuation, the police response as they called in these reports of gunmen an

for more on this now let's turn to cnn chief law enforcement analyst john miller. dinary as this? >> well, a lot. and it goes beyond secret service resources. you know, they're going to fly in. there will be a motorcade from the airport. they'll need the assistance of the airport police and the atlanta pd and the fulton county sheriff. and that's just getting to the jail. >> and what's the process like when trump does turn himself in this week? can you walk us through that? >> so if the secret service is able to perform, you know, to their optimal desires in a case like this, we won't see donald trump. they would like to bring him in a garage entrance so he's not exposed outside, get him into the jail, get him through the process, and get him out of the jail through the same exit and to the airport because from a secret service standpoint the faster they get in and the faster they get out the simpler the mission is. from the jail standpoint they have a shared interest, brianna, because when you've got secret service and outsiders and attorneys coming into the jail e

i want to bring in cnn chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst john miller, and charlie baileynior district attorney. john, this was apparently on the fbi's radar. there are a lot of people as i know from you on the radar, but in terms of the broader impact, how do you stay on top of all of these people? it feels like there's an increase in the concern over these threats and the number of th threat. >>s. >> you know, it's a toxic environment, and some is driven by social media. you have the texas woman who threatened the judge in washington. you have a chicago woman who was arrested yesterday for reaching out to the headmaster of young barron trump's school in florida and threatening to shoot him and donald trump directly in the face. she was known to the secret service for other threats. and on the flip side of that, you've got numerous threats coming in to the district attorney in georgia, to the sheriff and their employees at the jail, so yeah, what we're seeing is a lot of energy, negative energy. . >> you mentioned those threats specifically in georgia. the district attorn

john miller, thank you very, very much.or more on the story, i'm joined by same olens, the former attorney general of georgia. attorney, thanks so much for joining us. how concerned are you, first of all, by these heightened threats to the sheriff's office employees as well as over at their homes? in your time as georgia's attorney general, did you ever see anything like this go on? >> well, i mean, frankly, we witnessed over the last several years, more and more of these threats. the nice thing or the good thing is that the police department, the sheriff's department, and our federal partners are very familiar with it. so they have processes in place. they aggressively work on these issues on a daily basis and they're very, very professional. >> let me also get your thoughts while i have you, attorney general, on mark meadows' emergency motion on turning himself in by friday because of his request to move his case to federal court. how likely is it that he'll be able to avoid arrest? >> so i think the likelihood is that he

he is a former president, and he has secret service protection, and with me now is the stealthy john millerut anybody seeing you. and look, wherever the former president goes, there are security situation, and what is this? >> well, some of it is boiled down to the drill. the secret service has now guided donald trump through a booking process in new york city, miami, washington, and so there is practice. but the difference here is that this is not being done in the office of the district attorney or the u.s. marshal as they have done it before through a special arrangements. this is being done at the county jail, which is kind of makes him like a regular person who has to go with they tell him to go, and they could have done it another way and set it up special, but they have not. >> and let me break it down. one of the thing they have said in georgia, they want to treat him like anyone else, and are they? >> to the extent that they can. you have two interests here. one is georgia trying to say, we will treat him like anybody else, and the other is the effect that it has on the jail and th

john miller joins us. there are some key differences here that we could see.>> i think at some point, they're going to make that surrender date. i don't think you're going to see a mass surrender of those defendants. i think donald trump will probably have his own day. but the sheriff has been very clear, whatever our process is, we're going to follow that process. so that means fingerprints, that means mugshots, that means going through a booking process. the wild card here, jessica, is always the same, which is it's the secret service. they don't like to have someone under their protection in handcuffs, because if they have to grab the person and move them out of someplace quickly, that's a security consideration. i doubt we'll see that. they have been accommodated by the federal government and the new york people in the earlier arrests. but i think we're going to probably see a donald trump mugshot, if the sheriff sticks to his plan. >> yeah. georgia law does allow for cameras to be inside the courtroom. we saw the indictment play out last night. do you ant

i want to bring in john miller, who's cnn's chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst. hn, back to the case. we know at least one of trump's co-defendants is inside that fulton county jail. harrison floyd, the leader of a group called black voices for trump. he did not negotiate bond prior to turning himself in. could fulton county be liable if something happens to him? >> well, the system that they've been using is a little unusual. it's that you go to the courthouse, you know, where the district attorney's office is and you negotiate your bond ahead of time. so that's what mark meadows did. that's what donald trump did. that's what rudy giuliani did. then to a bondsman if necessary to secure that money. and then you go to the jail with that package. apparently he showed up in the jail without that package, which means the process reverses which is he has to get processed there on the warrant and then show up in court and have the bail set by a magistrate. so the question is how long is it going to be before he can get in front of a judge there? >> mr. floyd could have

joining me now is chief intelligence analyst john miller.at that child is standing as the scene is playing out. what do you see? walk me through what you see here. >> i see a few things and i watched this video a number of times and first you see the police arrive and you see the woman and the wheelchair. what are the first words she says? don't pull a gun out on my husband. she's giving an indicator that she is overwrought. where is he at the moment? he is at the car with the door open and getting something out of the car. the police are going on alert, he sees the police are here and he's getting something out of the car and what is that? the first officer said show me your hands? he goes behind his back and is shifting it from hand to hand and cups it in one hand, and the officer says show me your hands and the first officer is holding a taser and it's a non-lethal weapon and bright yellow. he runs to the officer who is holding the gun which is the lethal weapon and the last frame that we saw in the video, notice he's got his hands cupped
