bailey. the crash still blocks two lanes. back to you. >> thank you very much, mike. >>> we have new video overnight, a fiery scene in the east bay. there's a car in that garage that was destroyed by flames. it happened a little before midnight along mount hamilton drive in antioch. from the video, it looks like the rest of the house was spared. we did reach out to first responders to learn more about what happened or if anyone was injured. so far, we're still awaiting a response. >>> oakland's mayor sheng thao is facing new pressure this morning from the police officers union to appoint a new permanent chief. mayor thao fired leronne armstrong a few weeks after taking office in january. since then, statistics show violent crimes in oakland are on the rise. just yesterday police responded to two deadly shootings and this as the union says mayor thao is overseas on a trade mission in vietnam. the union president believes it's time for action. >> let's get a permanent police chief. it's seven months since the position was vacated. what are we doing? crime is spiraling.

bailey hey, mike. that's right. they absolutely were loving this game tonight. i don't really think that they minded that team usa was necessary out because of just how entertaining this was. i wish i could tell you exactly right now how loud this crowd got when spain did score that game winning goal in the 111th minute. again preventing these two teams from having to go to pks, which team usa fans know all too well. it can go rough. but i do want to get right to this story to show you a little bit about what this watch party was all about tonight. fog are sunshine team usa or not, soccer fans came out to the crossing at the east, cut in san francisco to enjoy the quarterfinals of the women's world cup. people hung out at the bar, bows to ground their kids with street soccer. usa played soccer and fans showed off their more than impressive tech ball skills. micah is from spain but calls san francisco home now. she was thrilled to be able to watch her home country team with other fans. it's extremely special, actually, to share it with all of them here at this ta
