seac colon-lopez: absolutely. lt. gen. wright: let me press on to open up in the context of opportunities. open up recruiting opportunities, open up opportunities to serve an ever wider spectrum of the population. broadly, and i think you make these points already, how do you explain the opportunities to an ever wider population? seac colon-lopez: i have always stated we are our best recruiters, every service member. for a fighter pilot to go back to his hometown or her hometown and tell the story of their i was where you are right now, i put my mettle to the test and this is where i am today, it resonates with a lot of people and it made pique their curiosity to go into service. coming from a background that didn't speak english and did not have exposure to any special operatives because in our poor communities, we were not surrounded by ceos and so on. you -- they were tradesmen. to be able to be exposed to someone that came from the same place you came from and open your eyes that even though you may be living with this
