amanda: we are seeing it in the leveraged loan market already.e are starting to see that come through. i have been pleasantly surprised about the high-yield market's ability to weather the wave of september issuance. do think that will continue. that maturity wall will need to be addressed. but we think that will continue. lisa: i'm curious about where this money is coming from. is this coming from another pool, like treasuries? where is this coming from stock investors? amanda: we have done some surveys across institutional investors and there is a growing interest to deploy capital into fixed income, largely due to the repricing in yields. we are also seeing increased interest in areas like private credit as well. i do think there is a decent amount of cash on the sidelines. in many instances these are credits these investors know well, and if they are seeing them come to the primary market on sale that could be an attractive opportunity to deploy capital, if it is a credit you know well, you are comfortable with the risk, and you are comfortab

amanda, it is great to see you. it's been forever. i'm really happy you're on.emocracy in peril is a message that president biden is going to be campaigning on, do you think it's an effective one, or is there an element of trump fatigue at play and people just tune out a lot of these warnings at this stage? >> there could be some fatigue. but let me tell you what i really liked about this speech. and it doesn't really have a lot to do with exactly what biden said. i think you look at the place and the people that were there. he was there not just to give a good speech about democracy, which i think it was, but he was there to open up a mccain library in honor of john mccain. cindy mccain, his beloved wife, spoke at the opening of it. and when she did, she talked about how grateful she was for joe biden's friendship. she talked about how they could work together to preserve the flame of democracy. president biden acknowledged many republicans that were there in the audience. that is what it takes to uphold democracy. republicans have to be part of the equation. a

amanda, we have seen the overturning of all the way to landmark federal ruling. the guaranteed the right to abortion, a wave of anti translate distillation government funding earmarked for religious education all. and it's kind of part of an alarming shift in policy and due to shared rulings tied to the far right going forward. how is christian nationalism going to affect the fundamental, i mean, really the basis of civil rights for people in united states? i think christian national lives and strikes at the very heart, a civil rights for all americans. i've said that christian nationalism is the single biggest threat today for religious freedom for all, because it cuts against that core foundational ideas that are belonging in american society should never depend on how we worship, or how we identify religiously and christian nationalism ties to blow, all of that up. and so one part of christian nationalism, of course, is the site that the united states should be declared a christian nation. it very alarmingly. there was a new pull out. the majority of republica

amanda quintana, ktvu fox two news. amanda, thank you. a chp motorcycle officer and another driver being treated for serious injuries after they crashed at a san francisco intersection yesterday afternoon. witnesses say the chp officer was thrown off his motorcycle and into the street at harrison. and third, the driver of the car involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. we spoke with the chp, who said first responders responded very quickly. emergency personnel arrived on the scene within approximately 1 to 2 minutes of the traffic collision. the motor officer was transported to san francisco general hospital with parents non life threatening injuries. the driver of the car involved in the crash also went to san francisco general, but police did not release details about that person's injuries. there are surveillance cameras at that intersection, but no word yet on whether officers were able to look at any video that showed the crash and how it happened. the chp is investing, dating a shooting that happened on i
