the last couple of days, 5060s on the temps, 59 south lake tahoe and truckee 60s in the valley, mainly, and then even big monsoon activity yesterday, arizona into southern nevada, parts of the california desert. this low is going to hang around. so the key is it's not just going over land. it's going a little bit over water. and so it means it taps into more moisture. it's going to be right off the bay area into about sunday before it finally kicks out. so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. now, this is just one forecast model, but livermore showing a 0.28. so i would not be surprised. santa rosa oh point oh nine fairfield .07 this would be drizzle, this would not so we'll see. it's close enough that i have to mention altamont pass. maybe out to sacramento. there's going to be some i think possibility of rain here and it is lit up on the west slope of the sierra here for two inch amounts. it's over between today and into sunday. northern sacramento valley, northeast california, tahoe, truckee, even out to the sacramento valley. but right in there, right in there. that's a lot of rain, possible thunderstorms. so we have flash flood watch

south lake tahoe and mammoth. a couple of things going on. a lot of that tropical moisture is pushing off into the four corners. southern nevada and northern arizonaic northwest, much too far for us to make much of an impact. why? because a low is sneaking in underneath that picks up that fog bank, raises the bases, and as that low inches closer, it will really ramp up that fog bank to the point where it might even make it out to the sacramento valley and give us some drizzle by late friday into saturday. the key is going to be next week. next week, as the forecast models trying to figure out what the heck to do with this pattern as it evolves. the high looks like it's going to build out towards the pacific. now, there are some projections in the intermountain region in a weaker band over us and another one with one of the forecast models has a deep system for the end of next week. so we'll see which one wins out. but any way you look at it, there's no heat except elected next five plus days. sunny but cooler. you know, sunny, he's in town cooler as well. and temperatures now inland. still some upper 80s. it takes a while to really kind of break d
